Bhavishya Bharat is a not-for-profit organisation having expertise in implementing integrated social development programmes, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities and planning, execution and evaluation of Local Area Development Programmes (LADP) for corporates and Government agencies. It aims at promoting integrated and inclusive development through social, economic and environmental interventions.
Improve the quality of life of communities through holistic and integrated social development, thereby enabling communities to become self-reliant and more developed.
Provide sustainable opportunities to improve health, education, livelihoods and gender equity from the human development perspective.
Aims & Objectives
To carry out, run, establish, sponsor and maintain all kinds of charitable work and activities, Livelihoods and educational work and activities social work and activities, thrift programs, saving programs and credit activities.
To establish, maintain, assist, improve and otherwise support both directly and indirectly educational institutions and programmes to provide academic and technical and vocational education and trainings at all levels and to provide assistance to needy students.
To run sponsor or assist in literacy numeracy and other educational and training programmes for people of all ages. Including setting up of libraries and computer centers and other facilities for education, training and development of knowledge and capabilities.
To undertake all kinds of rescue, relief, resettlement and rehabilitation programmes at the time of natural and other calamities as well as to attend to the needs of those affected by industrialisation and infrastructure development activities undertaken by both Governments and Private parties
To establish and maintain all kinds of homes and Institutions for the benefit of disadvantaged children, old people, students, homeless persons and trainees and students undergoing.
To plan and implement all kinds of development programmes for welfare and development of rural and urban areas like drinking water, sanitation, infrastructure development etc.
To collaborate and cooperate with Government and Non- Governmental Organisations to undertake Programme on common problem relating to any socio economic development, particularly in rural areas..
To undertake programme aiming at raising peoples’ critical awareness on environmental issues which primarily refer to the life sustaining resources and channelise their awareness into action programme that help in protecting the environment/ecology.
To establish, maintain assist, improve and otherwise support both directly and indirectly medical institutions and programmes including but not restricted to hospitals, diagnostic centre, dispensaries and other health Institutions, both mobile and fixed in urban/ rural areas.
To carry on, run, start, establish, maintain all kinds of schools, technical centers, research and development centers and Institutions in urban/ rural areas.
To take up such activities of general public utility not involving the carrying on any activity for profit.
To set up blood banks and eye banks on the basis of Voluntary donations.
To do all necessary things for and incidental or conductive for the attainment of above objectives of the Trust including but not restricted to hiring personnel and consultants, entering into alliances and agreements of cooperation, soliciting and bidding for funds from Government and companies
Shri K Padmanabhaiah
Shri K Padmanabhaiah, former Home Secretary, Government of India chaired a number of Government Committees including the Earthquake Relief and Rehabilitation Committee of Government of India after the Latur Maharashtra earthquake and The Police Reforms Committee of Government of India.
Shri Padmanabhaiah is the recipient of many awards including the second highest civilian award of India “Padma Bhushan”, Gaint’s International Award for Excellence in Civil Administration 1991, Priyadarshini Academy’s “Public Service” Award 1996, and the Shiromani Award for Contributions towards National Development, Integration and Enrichment of life.
Lt Gen Hari Prasad (Retd)
Alumni of National Defence and Indian Military Academies, Lt. Gen. Hari Prasad was commissioned in 8 MARATHA LI on 02 August 1964. In his eventful career spanning 41 years, he held a number of prestigious command, staff and instructional appointments. He has taken part in the 1965 and 1971 Indo-Pak wars and was actively involved in the low intensity conflict in J & K from 1990 to 2005. The General oversaw the reconstruction phase of the earth quake in Gujarat in 2001 and was responsible for restoring normalcy and peace in the State post the Godhra incident in 2001.
The most challenging phase of the General’s career was as General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Northern Command from June 2003 to August 2005. For his distinguished services he has been awarded the Param Vishist Seva Medal, Uttam Yudh Seva Medal, Ati Vishist Seva Medal and Vishist Seva Medal. The General has been an active sportsman and has excelled in athletics, basketball, hockey and tennis. He is a keen golfer.
Presently he is on the Board of numerous companies related to power generation and infrastructural development. He is also the Managing Trustee of Bhavishya Bharat which is carrying out the Corporate Social Responsibility in four states of India.
Dr. D Nageshwar Reddy
Dr. D. Nageshwar Reddy is a gastroenterologist studied in the Kurnool Medical college. He is the Chairman of Asian Institute of Gastroenterology. It is the biggest gastroenterology hospital in the world. He received the Padma Shri award in 2002, one of the highest civilian award given by the Government of India.
Prof. Shanta Sinha
Prof. Shanta Sinha is an academician with Hyderabad Central University. She gained the internationally renowned Ramon Magsaysay award (2003) for community leadership. She has also been awarded the Padma Shri (1999), and the Albert Shanker International Award (1999) from Education International.
Prof. Shanta Sinha headed the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights for two consecutive terms. She is the founder of MV Foundation, a non-governmental organisation which works with communities in building the capacities for abolition of child labor by universalizing social education.
Dr. Sanjay Patra
Dr. Sanjay Patra is the Executive Director of Financial Management Service Foundation, a development resource organisation involved in financial monitoring and capacity building of development organisations in South Asia. He is a Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (FCA).
